The Matrix versus Constantine
This review is about The Matrix , a complex and captivating saga of science fiction movies, the first one was released in the late 90's and presented the dystopian story of a simulated reality that encompasses humanity.
The main character, Thomas Anderson, also known as Neo, played by Keanu Reeves in each and every one of the feature films. Similarly, Trinity played by Carrie-Anne Moss
Matrix mixing two realities, the world as we know it and a simulated reality that can trick us into believing we're home, seamlessly on screen is an excellent piece of cinematic history. The viewer is led to observe and question their own existence and the matrix provides the landscape for this to happen. The Matrix provided a legacy for any medium after it continues and I think for that reason the Matrix will always stand alone.
Constantine
On the other hand, we have Constantine, it is about a man who was born with a gift that he did not want, the ability to clearly recognize the angels and hybrid demons that walk the earth in a human guise, Constantine (KEANU REEVES), this gift led him to attempt suicide and it also drags him to disillusionment with the world around him and confronted with the afterlife, he is a bitter hero who drinks excessively, leads a hard life and despises the very idea of heroism.
The Matrix and Constantine are both science fiction and action, however The Matrix is much better than Constantine for the special effects, the epic fight scenes in the rain and the cause; one fight to open the eyes of humanity, the other to send evil spirits back to the depths of hell!,
Between matrix and constantine, my favorite is matrix, because it makes us question our own reality, whether what we see is so real or just an illusion.
The last Matrix movie was not to my taste, it was very difficult to understand. And I haven't seen Constantine yet, but I think science fiction is not my favorite genre, I prefer suspense.
